EMERGENCY ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR POLITICAL DEFENSE For the expenses of participation by the United States in the Emergency Advisory Committee for Political Defense, fiscal year 1944, as authorized by and in accordance with Public Law 80, approved June 19, 1943, $85,000. EIGHTH PAN AMERICAN CHILD CONROESS The unexpended balance of the appropriation "Eighth Pan Amer- ican Child Congress", continued available to June 30, 1943, by the Second Deficiency Appropriation Act, 1942, is continued available for the same purposes until June 30, 1944. TREASURY DEPARTMENT OFFICE OF CHIEF CLERK Contingent expenses: The limitation under miscellaneous and con- tingent expenses, Treasury Department, on the amount which may be expended for travel expenses, fiscal year 1944, is hereby increased from $8,000 to $18,000.
