District of Columbia and the Treasury of the United States in the manner prescribed by the District of Columbia Appropriation Acts for the respective fiscal years for which such sums are provided. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATOR OF CIVIL AERONAUTICS War Training Service: Pay at a rate of $50 per month from and after December 15, 1942, to persons subject to service in the Army of the United States but not on active duty therein, while under- going training under supervision of the Civil Aeronautics Adminis- tration War Training Service and during one or more periods -while awaiting assignment between courses (not exceeding two months between any two courses), fiscal year 1943, $3,500,000. DEPARTMENT OF STATE FOREIGN INTERCOURSE Salaries, Ambassadors and Ministers: Effective March 25, 1943, the appropriation "Salaries, Ambassadors and Ministers", contained in the Department of State Appropriation Act, 1943, shall be avail- able for salaries of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, and Nicaragua, at the rate of $10,000 per annum each. TREASURY DEPARTMENT BUREAU OF ACCOUNTS Division of Disbursements, salaries and expenses: For an addi- tional amount for "Division of Disbursement, salaries and expenses", fiscal year 1943, including the objects specified under this head in the Treasury Department Appropriation Act, 1943, $550,000. SECRET SERVICE DIVISION Suppressing counterfeiting and other crimes: For an additional amlount for "Sluplressilng counterfeiting and other crimes", fiscal year 1943, including the objects specified undler this head in the Treasury Department Appropriation Act, 1943, $28,000. Approved May 7, 1943. [CHAPTER 95] AN ACT To provide for the expansion of facilities for hospitalization of dependents of naval and Marine Corps personnel, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Reprexentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That for the pur- pose of expanding facilities for the hospitalization of dependents of personnel of the Navy and Marine Corps, and others as herein pro- vided, there is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasurv not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $2,000,00o. SEC. 2 . The hospitalization of dependents of naval and Marine Corps personnel at any naval hospital shall be at such per diem or other rate as may be prescribed from time to time by the President, and all sums received in payment of such hospital charges shall be deposited to the credit of the appropriation or fund for the main- tenance and operation of naval hospitals.
