The Government of the Republic of Chile shall not be responsible for any indemnity in case of permanent disability to a member of the Mission. ARTICLE 30. Any member of the Mission unable to perform his duties with the Mission by reason of long-continued physical disa- bility shall be replaced within three months. ARTICLE 31. The members of this Mission are permitted and may be authorized to represent the United States of America on any commission and in any other capacity having to do with mili- tary cooperation or hemispheric defense without prejudice to this contract.
