National Institute of Health, operating expenses: For an additional amount, fiscal year 1947, for "National Institute of Health, operating expenses", $8,200. SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Salaries, Bureau of Old-Age and Survivors Insurance: For an addi- tional amount, fiscal year 1947, for "Salaries, Bureau of Old-Age and Survivors Insurance ' , $375,000, and the limitation on the amount which may be expended from the Federal old-age and survivors insur- ance trust fund under this head in the Federal Security Agency Appropriation Act, 1947, is hereby increased by $436,100, the whole 60 stat. 94. to be accounted for as one fund: Provided,That any sums received by the Administrator as payment for services performed for any depart- ment or agency of the Government by persons whose salaries are paid from said fund shall be deposited to the credit of the fund and be available, during the fiscal year in which such sums are received, for the same purposes.
