Approved July 9, 1947. [CHAPTER 218] AN ACT Conferring United States citizenship posthumously upon Harold Turcean. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Harold Turcean, a native of Rumania who lived in the United States from the time he was three years old, enlisted in the Army of the United States (serial number 36576489) for service in World War II, and was killed in action in Normandy on June 10, 1944, shall be held and considered to have been a citizen of the United States at the time of his death.
