AIR TRANSPORT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND TURKEY Having in mind the resolution signed under date of December 7, 1944, at the International Civil Aviation Conference in Chicago Illinois, for the adoption of a standard form of agreement for pro- visional air routes and services, ['] and the desirability of mutually stimulating and promoting the sound economic development of air transportation between the United States of America and Turkey, the two Governments parties to this arrangement agree that the establish- ment and development of air transport services between their respec- tive territories shall be governed by the following provisions: ARTICLE I Each contracting party grants to the other contracting party the rights as specified in the Annex hereto necessary for establishing Po4.
