ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS

Appropriations of the Bonneville Power Administration shall be available to carry out all the duties imposed upon the Administrator pursuant to law, including not to exceed $75,000 for services as authorized by Section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 55a), including such services at rates not to exceed $100 per diem for individuals; purchase of not to exceed twenty passenger motor vehicles (of which ten shall be for replacement only); and purchase (not to exceed one) of aircraft. Appropriations made herein to the Bonneville Power Administration shall be available in one fund, except that the appropriation herein made for operation and maintenance shall be available only for the service of the current fiscal year. Not to exceed 12 per centum of the appropriation for construction herein made for the Bonneville Power Administration shall be available for construction work by force account or on a hired-labor basis, except in case of emergencies, local in character, so declared by the Bonneville Power Administrator. "The Bonneville Power Administrator", is hereby added after "the Commissioner of Reclamation", in subsection (a) of section 6 of the Act of October 15, 1949 (Public Law 359, Eighty-first Congress), as amended.

B U R E A U O F LAND M A N A G E M E N T M A N A G E M E N T OF LANDS AND RESOURCES

For expenses necessary for protection j use, improvement, development, disposal, cadastral surveying, classification, and performance of other functions, as authorized by law, in the management of lands and their resources under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management, $11,000,000: Provided, That this appropriation may be expended on a reimbursable basis for surveys of lands other than those under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management: Provided further, That, for the purpose of surveying federally controlled or intermingled lands, contributions toward the cost thereof may be accepted. CONSTRUCTION

For construction of access roads on the revested Oregon and California Railroad grant lands; acquisition of rights-of-way and of existing connecting roads adjacent to such lands; to remain available until expended, $2,750,000: Provided, That the amount appropriated herein for road construction shall be transferred to the Bureau of Public Roads, Department of Commerce: Provided further, That said sum of $2,750,000 is hereby made a reimbursable charge against the Oregon and California land-grant fund and shall be reimbursed to the general fund in the Treasury in accordance with the provisions of the second paragraph of subsection (b) of title II of the Act of August 28, 1937 (50 Stat. 875). ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS

Appropriations for the Bureau of Land Management shall be available for purchase of not to exceed forty-five passenger motor vehicles, of which thirty-one shall be for replacement only; purchase, erection, and dismantlement of temporary structures, and alteration and maintenance of necessary buildings and appurtenant facilities to which the United States has title: Provided, That of appropriations herein made for the Bureau of Land Management expenditures in connection
