States Code, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof a new section 216 to read as follows: "§ 216. When the day for taking action falls on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday. "When the last day for making any deposit or application, or for paying any fee, or for delivering any other material to the Copyright Office falls on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday within the District of Columbia, such action may be taken on the next succeeding business day." SEC. 2. The table of contents of chapter 3 of title 17 of the United States Code is amended by adding at the end thereof "216. When the day for taking action falls on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday." CHAPTER 140 AN ACT

To facilitate the development of building materials in Alaska through the removal of volcanic ash from portions of Katmai National Monument, Alaska, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purpose of aiding in the development of building materials essential to the growth of Alaska, the Secretary of the Interior is authorized, in his discretion, for a period of fifteen years from the date of approval of this Act, pursuant to the provisions of the Act of July 31, 1947 (61 Stat. 681), as amended, to permit the removal of deposits of siliceous volcanic ash, commonly known as pumicite, from such areas as he may designate along the shores of Shelikof Strait in Katmai National Monument, Alaska. CHAPTER 141 AN ACT

To authorize the exchange, upon terms fully protecting the public interest, of the United States Public Health quarantine station at Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, for a new quarantine station.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, subject to the provisions of section 2 of this Act, the Administrator of General Services, with the approval of the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the United States, to exchange with the Sun Oil Company, upon such terms and conditions as the Administrator may determine to be in the public interest, the lands and buildings comprising the United States Public Health quarantine station at Marcus HOOK, Pennsylvania, for a new quarantine station (including land and buildings, a wharf, approaches, roadways, and other improvements incidental thereto, to be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Administrator) to be provided by the Sun Oil Company upon a suitable site in the Philadelphia port area. SEC. 2. The exchange authorized by the first section of this Act shall not be made unless the Administrator of General Services determines (1) that the value to the United States of the property to be conveyed
