CHAPTER 1215 AN ACT For the relief of Maria Busa.

September 1, 1954 [S. 738]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of section 203(a)(3) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Maria Busa shall be held and considered to be the minor child of Giovanni Busa, an alien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of ximerica in Congress assembled, That, for the puroses of sections 101(a) (27)(A) and 205 of the Immigration and ationality Act, the minor child. Anastasia Kondylis, shall be held and considered to be the natural-born alien child of Mr. and Mrs. Peter (Panagiotis N.) Vlasos, citizens of the United States. Approved September 1, 1954.

For the relief of Margot Herta Matulewitz.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 212(a)(9) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Margot Herta Matulewitz may be admitted to the United States for permanent residence if she is found to be otherwise admissible under the provisions of such Act: Provided, That this exemption shall apply only to a ground for exclusion of which the Department of State or the Department of Justice has knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act.
