AN ACT For the relief of Doctor Anton M. Lodmell.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United /States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Doctor Anton M. Lodmell, of Walla Walla, Washington, the sum of $138.40. The payment of such sum shall be in full satisfaction of all claims of the said Doctor Anton M. Lodmell arising out of the occupancy and use by the United States Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, of approximately one acre of his land situated in Umatilla County, Oregon, as a temporary road construction camp for the period July 1, 1948, to December 15, 1953: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved August 6, 19.56.

AN ACT For the relief of William O. Brady and Joyce Brady.
Be it eruicted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the andVoTe^r^d^'^^ C^wec? States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, William C. Brady and ee Stat. 163. 8 USC 1101 note. Joyce Brady shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fees: Provided, That in the case of William C. Brady, he shall be required to comply with such conditions and controls which the Attorney General, after consultation with the Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, may deem necessary to impose: Provided further. That a suitable and proper bond or undertaking, approved by the Attorney General, be 8 USC 1183. deposited as prescribed by section 213 of the said Act. Upon the Quota deducgranting of permanent residence to such aliens as provided for in this tions. Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct the required numbers from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
