has been authorized by the Department of the Army for officers of the Army serving the Army at certain foreign stations, the same allowance shall be authorized for officers of the Armed Forces assigned to the Commission while serving at the same foreign stations, and this appropriation is hereby made available for the payment of such allowance: Provided further, That when traveling on business of the Commission, officers of the Armed Forces serving as members or as secretary of the Commission may be reimbursed for expenses as provided for civilian members of the Commission: Provided further, That the Commission shall reimburse other Government agencies, including the Armed Forces, for salary, pay, and allowances of personnel assigned to it.

For expenses necessary for the permanent design and construction of memorials and cemeteries in foreign countries as authorized by the Act of June 26, 1946 (36 U.S.C. 121, 123-132, 138b), and the Act of August 5, 1947 (50 U.S.C. App. 1819), including not to exceed $22,500 for expenses of travel, $1,050,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That the Commission shall reimburse other Government agencies, including the Armed Forces, for salary, pay, and allowances of personnel assigned to it.

FOREIGN CLAIMS SETTLEMENT COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For expenses necessary to carry on the activities of the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission, including services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 55a), at rates not 60 Stat. 810. to exceed $50 per diem for individuals; expenses of attendance at meetings concerned with the purposes of this appropriation; not to exceed $10,000 for expenses of travel; and advances or reimbursements to other Government agencies for use of their facilities and services in carrying out the functions of the Commission, and employment of aliens; $800,000, of which $100,000 shall be derived only from the war claims fund created by section 13(a) of the W a r Claims Act of 1948 (Public Law 896, approved July 3, 1948) and not to be 62 Stat. 1247. 50 USC app. available for obligation after June 30, 1957. 2012. SEC. 201. Unless otherwise specifically provided, the maximum v e h i c l e s. amount allowable during the current fiscal year, in accordance with 60 Stat. 8 1 0. section 16 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 78), for the purchase of any passenger motor vehicle (exclusive of buses and ambulances), is hereby fixed at $1,350 except station wagons for which the maximum shall be $1,800.
