Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following 3,^11*1? For compensation of Senators, $2,328,245. M I L E A G E O F PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE AND OF SENATORS
For mileage of the President of the Senate and of Senators, $51,000. EXPENSE A L L O W A N C E OF MAJORITY AND MINORITY LEADERS
For expense allowance of the majority leader and the minority leader of the Senate, $2,000 each; in all, $4,000. COMPENSATION OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
For the compensation of the Vice President of the United States, $37,695. EXPENSE ALLOWANCE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT
For expense allowance of the Vice President, $10,000. SALARIES, OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
For compensation of officers, employees, clerks to Senators, and others as authorized by law, including agency contributions as authorized, which shall be paid from this appropriation without regard to the below limitations, as follows: OFFICE o r THE VICE PRESIDENT
For clerical assistance to the A'^ice President, at rates of compensation to be fixed by him in basic multiples of $5 per month, $101,925. CHAPLAIN
