For an amount for communications which may be expended interchangeably for payment, in accordance with such limitations and restrictions as may be prescribed by the Committee on Rules and Administration, of charges on official telegrams and long-distance telehone calls made by or on behalf of Senators or the President of the enate, such telephone calls to be in addition to those authorized by the provisions of the Legislative Branch Appropriation Act, 1947 (60 Stat. 392; 2 U.S.C. 46c, 46d, 46e), as amended, and the First Deficiency Appropriation Act, 1949 (63 Stat. 77; 2 U.S.C. 4 6 d - l), $15,150.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS
Effective July 1, 1959, the table contained in section 4(f) of the Federal Employees' Salary Increase Act of 1955 (Public Law 94, Eighty-fourth Congress, approved June 28, 1955) is amended by striking out the last line therein and inserting in lieu thereof the following: 13,000,000 but less than 15,000,000 15,000,000 but less than 17,000,000 17,000,000 or more
