Public Law 86-451 AN ACT Making appropriations for the Department of Commerce and related agencies for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1961, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following ci^me/cV^and Re-^ sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise lated Agencies Apappropriated, for the Department of Commerce and related agencies Piip'^atxon Act, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1961, namely: TITLE I — DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the general administration of the Department of Commerce, $2,660,875. OFFICE OF F I E L D SERVICES

Salaries and expenses: For expenses necessary to operate and maintain field offices for the collection and dissemination of information useful in the development and improvement of commerce throughout the United States and its possessions, $2,584,000. AVIATION WAR R I S K INSURANCE REVOLVING F U N D

The Secretary of Commerce is hereby authorized to make such expenditures, within the limits of funds available pursuant to section 1306 of the Act of August 23, 1958 (72 Stat. 803), and in accordance with section 104 of the Government Corporation Control Act, as amended (31 U.S.C. 849), as may be necessary in carrying out the programs set forth in the budget for the current fiscal year for aviation war risk insurance activities under said Act (72 Stat. 800).

BUREAU OF THE CENSUS SALARIES A N D E X P E N S E S

For expenses necessary for collecting, compiling, and publishing current census statistics provided for by law, including enumerators at rates to be fixed without regard to the Classification Act of 1949, as amended, $8,898,500. 1958 CENSUSES OF B U S I N E S S, M A N U F ACT U R E S, AND M I N E R A L I N D U S T R I E S

For an additional amount for expenses necessary for preparing for, taking, compiling, and publishing the 1958 censuses of business, manufactures, and mineral industries as authorized by law, including personal services at rates to be fixed by the Secretary of Commerce without regard to the Classification Act of 1949, as amended, and additional compensation of Federal employees temporarily detailed for field work under this appropriation, $1,125,000, to remain available until December 31, 1961.
