TITLE IV—RELATED AGENCIES FARM CREDIT ADMINISTRATION LIMITATION ON ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES
Not to exceed $2,590,000 (from assessments collected from farm credit agencies) shall be obligated during the current fiscal year for administrative expenses. FEDERAL FARM MORTGAGE CORPORATION FUND
The Federal Farm Mortgage Corporation is authorized to make such expenditures, within available funds and in accordance with law, as may be necessary to liquidate its assets: Provided, That funds realized from the liquidation of assets which are determined by the Board of Directors to be in excess of the requirements for expenses of liquidation shall be declared as dividends which shall be paid into the general fund of the Treasury. For expenses of supplying grain to the Secretary of the Interior to prevent crop damage by migratory waterfowl pursuant to the Act of July 3, 1956 (7 U.S.C. 442^45), $35,000, to remain available until expenaed. TITLE V—GENERAL PROVISIONS SEC. 501. Within the unit limit of cost fixed by law, appropriations and authorizations made for the Department under this Act shall be available for the purchase, in addition to those specifically provided for, of not to exceed three hundred and ninety-eight passenger motor vehicles, of which three hundred and eighty-five shall be for replacement only, and for the hire of such vehicles. SEC. 502. Provisions of law prohibiting or restricting the employment of aliens shall not apply to employment under the appropriation for the Foreign Agricultural Service. SEC. 503. Funds available to the Department of Agriculture shall be available for uniforms or allowances therefor as authorized by the Act of September 1, 1954, as amended (5 U.S.C. 2131). SEC. 504. No part of the funds appropriated by this Act shall be used for the payment of any officer or employee of the Department who, as such officer or employe, or on behalf of the Department or any division, commission, or bureau thereof, issues, or causes to be issued, any prediction, oral or written, or forecast, except as to damage threatened or caused by insects and pests, with respect to future prices of cotton or the trend of same. SEC. 505. Except to provide materials required in or incident to research or experimental work where no suitable domestic product is available, no part of the funds appropriated by this Act shall be expended in the purchase of twine manufactured from commodities or materials produced outside of the United States.
