Public Law 87-880 October 24, 1962 ACT [H. R. 12900] Making appropriations for certain civil functions administered by the Department of Defense, certain agenciies of the Department of the Interior, the Atomic Energy Commission, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, the Tennessee Valley Authority and certain river basin commissions for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Public Works United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following Appropriation Act, g^j^s RFG appropriated, out of any mone^ in the Treasury not othervirise appropriated, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, for certain civil functions administrated by the Department of Defense, certain agencies of the Department of the Interior, the Atomic Energy Commission, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, the Tennessee Valley Authority and certain river basin commissions, and for other purposes, namely: TITLE I—DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE—CIVIL DEPARTMENT OF THE A R M Y CEMETERIAL EXPENSES SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary cemeterial expenses as authorized by law, including maintenance, operation, and improvement of national cemeteries, and purchase of headstones and markers for unmarked graves; purchase of one passenger motor vehicle for replacement only; maintenance of that portion of Congressional Cemetery to which the United States has title. Confederate burial places under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Army, and graves used by the Army in commercial cemeteries; $10,276,000: Provided, That this appropriation shall not be used to repair more than a single approach road to any national cemetery: Provided further, That this appropriation shall not be obligated for construction of a superintendent's lod^e or family quarters at a cost per uilit in excess of $17,000, but such limitation may be increased by such additional amounts as may be required to provide office space, public comfort rooms, or space for the storage of Government property within the same structure: Provided further, That reimbursement shall be made to the applicable military appropriation for the pa^ and allowances of any military personnel performing services primarily for the purposes of this appropriation.
