Subchapter I—General Provisions § 3501. Application of Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure (a) Except as otherwise provided in this Code, the forms of process, writs, pleading, and motions, and the practice and procedure of the district court in criminal proceedings are governed by the then current Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure for the district courts of the United States prescribed by the Supreme Court of the United States pursuant to sections 3771 and 3772 of Title 18, United States Code. All offenses may, however, be prosecuted in the district court by information.
