SEC. 801. (a) Subparagraph (2) of section 1004(a) of the National Defense Education Act of 1958 is amended by inserting before the semicolon "and will keep such records and afford such access thereto as the Commissioner may find necessary to assure the correctness and verifications of such reports". (b) Subparagraph (3) of such section 1004(a) is amended by inserting before the peroid at the end thereof "(including such funds paid by the State to the local educational agencies)".
