Private Law 88-231 AN ACT For the relief of Captain Wilfrid E. Geliims, Tinted States Air Force.

Be it ermcted by the Sentite (md House of Representatives of the Fnlted Htatei^ of America in Congress assembled, That Captain Wilfrid E. Geliiias, Tmited States Air Force, is hereby relieved of all liability for repayment to the United States of the amount of $1,176.47 representing overpayments of active duty pay as a member of the Ignited States Air Force in the years 1959 through 1961, which he received as a result of erroneous credit of service for longevity pay purposes. SEC. 2. T'he Secretary of the I'reasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the said Captain Wilfrid E. Gelinas, the sum of any amount received or withheld from him on account of the payments referred to in the first section of this bill. No part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved June 11, 1964.

Private Law 88-232 AN ACT For the relief of.Jesse I. Ellington.

Be it eiuuded by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Vn'vted IStates of America in Congress assembled, That Jesse I. Ellington is hereby relieved of all liability for repayment to the Ignited States of the sum of $1,385.10, representing overpayment of compensation he received, through administrative error, as an employee of thts Department of the Navy, United; States Naval Observatory Time Service Substation, Richmond, Florida, in the jieriod between December 29, 1961, and June 8, 1968. SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the said Jesse I. Ellington, the sum of any amounts received or withheld from him on account of the overpayment referred to in the first section of this Act. SEC. 3. No part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent oi- attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
