TITLE I—SALAKY INCREASES FOR DISTRICT O F COLUMBIA POLICEMEN AND F I R E M E N SEC. 101. Section 101 of the District of Columbia Police and Firemen's Salary Act of 1958 (72 Stat. 481), as amended, is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 101. The annual rates of basic compensation of the officers and members of the Metropolitan Police force and the Fire Department of the District of Columbia shall be fixed in accordance with the following schedule of rates: "SALARY SCHEDULE
