For payments in foreign currencies which the Treasury Department shall determine to be excess to the normal requirements o i the United States, for necessary expenses of the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries, as authorized by law, $300,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available, in addition to other appropriations to such agency, for payments in the foregoing currencies. CONSTRUCTION

For construction and acquisition of buildings and other facilities required for the conservation, maimgement, investigation, protection, and utilization of commercial fishery resources and the acquisition of lands and interests therein, $1,980,000, to remain available until expended. CONSTRUCTION OF F I S H I N G

VESSELS

For expenses necessary to carry out the provisions of the Act of June 12, 1960 (74 Stat. 212), as amended by the Act of August 30, 1964 (78 Stat. 614), to assist in the construction of fishing vessels, 1/1^3"^^ ^^"^^ $5,000,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That in addition, any unobligated balance as of June 30, 1965, of the amount appropriated under this head in the Supplemental Appropriation Act, 1965, shall be transferred to and merged with this appropriation. ^^ ^*^*" ^o^^* FEDERAL AID FOR COMMERCIAL RESEARCH

DEVELOPMENT

For expenses necessary to carry out the provisions of the Commercial Fisheries Research and Development Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 197), $4,800,000, of which not to exceed $300,000 shall be available for J^l^^^ program administration and $400,000 shall be available pursuant to the provisions of section 4(b) of the Act: Provided, That the sum of $4,100,000 available for apportionment to the States pursuant to section 5(a) of the Act shall remain available until the close of the fiscal year following the year for which appropriated. EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for general administration of the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries, including such expenses in the regional ojSices, $674,000. ADMINISTRATION OF P R I B I L O F ISLANDS

For carrying out the provisions of the Act of February 26, 1944, as amended (16 U.S.C. 631a-631(][), there are appropriated amounts not to exceed $2,464,000, to be derived from the Pribilof Islands fund. L I M I T A T I O N O N A D M I N I S I U A T IV E E X P E N S E S, F I S H E R I E S LOAN F U N D

During the current fiscal year not to exceed $309,000 of the Fisheries loan fund shall be available for administrative expenses.
