To extend the Act at September 7, 1957, relating to aircraft loan guarantees.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Act of Sep- g uAircrafte s loan arante. tember 7, 1957 (49 II.S.C. 1324 note) is amended by striking the word ^"ExtenVion. "ten" and inserting in lieu thereof the word "fifteen" in section 8. _7L^*^*^;," 76 Stat. 936. SEC. 2. Section 4 of such Act of September 7, 1957, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following: " (g) Unless the Secretary finds that the prospective earning power of-the applicant air carrier, together with the character and value of the security pledged, furnish (1) reasonable assurances of the applicant's ability to repay the loan within the time fixed therefor, and (2) reasonable protection to the United States." Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there is hereby Internationcil Jnion for the authorized to be appropriated annually to the Department of State Pubu'ckTio'n"of such sums as may be necessary, including contributions pursuant to customs Tariffs. the convention oi July 5, 1890, as amended, for the payment by the ppropnation. United States of its share of the expenses of the International Union for the Publication of Customs Tariffs and of the Bureau established to carry out the functions of the Union, but not to exceed 6 per centum of such expenses per annum.
