LABOR-MANAGEMENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATION SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For necessary expenses for the Labor-Management Services Administration, $23,500,000. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ADMINISTRATION SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For necessary expenses for the Employment Standards Administration, including reimbursement to State, Federal, and local agencies and their employees for inspection services rendered, $52,410,000. SPECIAL
BENEFITS
For the payment of compensation, benefits and expenses (except administrative expenses) as authorized by title IV of the Federal seltlTJs^' ^^^^ -^^^^ Health and Safety Act of 1969, as amended, and title V, 30 USC 901. chapter 81 of the United States Code, accruing during the current or 80 Stat. 532; any prior fiscal year, including medical examinations and treatment: 5 USC 8101. advancement of costs for enforcement of recoveries in third-party cases; continuation of benefits as provided for under the head "Civilian War Benefits" in the Federal Security Agency Appropriation Act, 60 Stat. 696. 1947; furiiisliing of medical treatment, hospital services and supplies, funeral and burial expenses, including transportation and other expenses incidental to such services for enrollees of the Civilian Conservation Corps that were certified by the Director of such Corps as receiving hospital services and treatment at Government expense on June 30, 1943, and who are not otherwise entitled thereto as civilian employees of the United States, and the limitations and authority formerly provided by the Act of September 7, 1916 (48 Stat. 351), as s°us^c*8m^'and ^i^^^^ded, shall apply in providing such services, treatment, and note. ^" expenses in such cases and for payments pursuant to sections 4(c) and ^g62^stat^.^mi; 5(f) of the W a r Claims Act of 1948 (50 U.S.C. App. 2012); and not 50 USC app. to exceed $1,800,000 which may be transferred to the fund created by 2003, 2004. section 44 of the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation 44 Stat. 1444; J^QI^ as amended, $141,250,000, together with such amounts as may be 33 USC 944. necessary to be charged to the subsequent year appropriation for the payment of compensation and other benefits for any period subsequent to June 15 of the current year. Whenever the Secretary of Labor finds it will promote the achievement of the above activities, qualified persons may be appointed to conduct hearings thereunder without meeting the requirements for 80 Stat. 415. hearing examiners appointed under 5 U.S.C. 3105: Provided, That no person shall hold a hearing in any case with which he has been concerned previously in the administration of such activities. For necessary expenses for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, $70,408,000.
