REFUNDS UNDER RENEGOTIATION ACT

For necessary expenses to carry out section 201(f) of the Renegotiation Act of 1951 (50 U.S.C. App. 1231(f)), $1,000,000, to remain available until expended. TEMPORARY STUDY COMMISSIONS NATIONAL COMMISSION ON SUPPLIES AND SHORTAGES SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses to carry out the provisions of the National Commission on Supplies and Shortages Act (Public Law 93-426), including personal services without regard to the provisions of law regulating the employment and compensation of persons in the Government service, $622,500: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available only upon enactment into law of authorizing legislation. For necessary expenses for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, to carry out the provisions of the National Commission on Supplies and Shortages Act (Public Law 93-426), including personal services without regard to the provisions of law regulating the employment and compensation of persons in the Government service, $295,000: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available only upon enactment intx) law of authorizing legislation. Funds appropriated under this heading in the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 1975, shall remain available until October 1, 1976. CHAPTER VIII CLAIMS AND JUDGMENTS

For payment of claims settled and determined by departments and agencies in accord with law and judgments rendered against the United States by the United States Court of Claims and United States district courts, as set forth in House Document Numbered 94-286, Ninetyfourth Congress, and Senate Document Numbered 94-133, Ninetyfourth Congress, $43,472,009, together with such amounts as may be necessary to pay interest (as and when specified in such judgments or provided by law) and such additional sums due to increases in rates of exchange as may be necessary to pay claims in foreign currency: Provided, That no judgment herein appropriated for shall be paid until it shall become final and conclusive against the United States by failure of the parties to appeal or otherwise: Provided further. That unless otherwise specifically required by law or by judgment, payment of interest wherever appropriated for herein shall not continue for more than thirty days after the date of approval of the Act. SEC. 201. No part of any appropriation contained in this Act shall remain available for obligation beyond the current fiscal year unless expressly so provided herein, except as provided in section 204 of the Supplemental Appropriation Act, 1975 (Public Law 93-554).
