Privacy Protection Study Commission. Fiscal year expenditure limitation, removal. Appropriation authorization. 5 USC 552a note.

To increase an authorization of appropriations for the Privacy Protection Study Commission, and to remove the fiscal year expenditure limitation.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the provision of law referred to in the note immediately preceding section 553 of title 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 9. There is authorized to be appropriated, without fiscal year limitation only to such extent or in such amounts as are provided in appropriation Acts, the sum of $2,000,000 to carry out the provisions of section 5 of this Act for the period beginning July 1, 1975, and ending on September 30, 1977.". Approved September 3, 1976.
