Public Law 94-213 94th Congress An Act To amend title 5, United States Code, to authorize civilians employed by the Department of Defense to administer oaths while conducting official investigations.

Be it enacted by the /Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 303 of Department of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting " (a) " immediately Defense civilian before "An employee" and by adding at the end thereof the following employees, oaths, new subsection: " (b) An employee of the Department of Defense lawfully assigned to investigative duties may administer oaths to witnesses in connection with an official investigation.". Approved February 13, 1976.
