equipment, shafts, slopes, tunnels, excavations, and other property, real or personal, placed upon, under, or above the surface of such land by any person, used in, or to be used in, or resulting from, the work of extracting in such area bituminous coal, lignite, or anthracite from its natural deposits in the earth by any means or method, and the work of preparing the coal so extracted, and includes custom coal preparation facilities;". (4) Sections 3(d), (e), (g), and (j) of such Act are each amended 30 USC 802. by inserting "or other" immediately after "coal" wherever it appears. (5) Section 3 of such Act is amended by striking out "and" at the end of paragraph (1). by striking out the period at the end of paragraph (m) and inserting in lieu thereof "; and", and by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraphs: " (n) 'Administration' means the Mine Safety and Health Administration in the Department of Labor. "(o) 'Commission' means the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.". (c) Section 4 of such Act is amended by inserting "or other" imme- 30 USC 803. diately after "coal".
