To extend the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That this Act may be cited as the "Defense Production Act Extension Amendments of 1977". SEC. 2. The first sentence of section 717(a) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 (64 Stat. 822) is amended by striking out "September 30, 1977" and inserting in lieu thereof "September 30, 1979". Approved June 1, 1977.
