PUBLIC LAW 95-74—JULY 26, 1977 June 30, 1932 (31 U.S.C. 686): Provided, That reimbursements for costs of supplies, materials, and equipment, and for services rendered may be credited to the appropriation current at the time such reimbursements are received. SEC. 104. Appropriations made to the Department of the Interior in this title shall be available for services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, when authorized by the Secretary, in total amount not to exceed $300,000; hire, maintenance, and operation of aircraft; hire of passenger motor vehicles; purchase of reprints; payment for telephone service in private residences in the field, when authorized under regulations approved by the Secretary; and the payment of dues, when authorized by the Secretary, for library membership in societies or associations which issue publications to members only or at a price to members lower than to subscribers who are not members. SEC. 105. Appropriations available to the Department of the Interior for salaries and expenses shall be available for uniforms or allowances therefor, as authorized by law (5 U.S.C. 5901-5902 and D.C. Code 4-204). SEC. 106. In addition to the aircraft specifically authorized under this Act there is hereby authorized for acquisition 3 aircraft for replacement only, 2 of which shall be from surplus. Such acquisitions shall be integral to the provision of centralized aircraft services in Alaska. SEC. 107. Appropriations made in this title shall be available for obligation in connection with contracts issued by the General Services Administration for services or rentals for periods not in excess of twelve months beginning at any time during the fiscal year.

TITLE II—RELATED AGENCIES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOREST SERVICE FOREST PROTECTION AND UTILIZATION

For expenses necessary for forest protection and utilization, as follows: Forest land management: For necessary expenses of the Forest Service, not otherwise provided for, including the administration, improvement, development, and management of lands, waters, or interests therein, under Forest Service administration, fighting and preventing forest fires on or threatening such lands and emergency rehabilitation and for liquidation of obligations incurred in the preceding fiscal year for such purposes, control of forest diseases and insects on Federal and non-Federal lands, implementation of forest advanced logging and conservation systems including necessary research and development related thereto, $533,918,000, of which $4,275,000 for fighting and preventing forest fires and for the emergency rehabilitation of burned-over lands under its jurisdiction and $5,025,000 for insect and disease control shall be apportioned for use, pursuant to section 3679 of the Revised Statutes, as amended, to the 31 USC 665. extent necessary under the then existing conditions: Provided, That funds appropriated for reforestation and stand improvement, $72,995,000, the cooperative law enforcement program, $5,865,000, and in Feet and disease control, $24,655,000, shall remain available for obligation until September 30, 1979.
