Public Law 95-299 95th Congress An Act To extend until October 1, 1980, the appropriation authorizations for the Great Dismal Swamp and San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuges.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 5 of Great Dismal the Act entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment of the Swamp and San San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge", approved June 30, Francisco Bay National 1972 (16 U.S.C. 668jj), is amended by striking out "June 30, 1977" Wildlife and inserting in lieu thereof "September 30, 1980". Refuges. SEC. 2. Section 4 of the Act entitled "An Act to establish the Great Appropriation Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge" (Public Law 93-402, 88 authorization, Stat. 801) is amended to read as follows: extension. "SEC. 4. For purposes of carrying out this Act, there are authorized 86 Stat. 399. to be appropriated not to exceed— "(1) $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1975; "(2) $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, and the transition quarter beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976; "(3) $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 3, 1977; and "(4) $21,100,000 for the period beginning October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1980, of which not to exceed $15,750,000 shall be available for land acquisition and not to exceed $5,350,000 shall be available for purposes other than land acquisition.". Approved June 26, 1978.
