DEPARTMENT OF LABOR EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ADMINISTRATION BLACK LUNG DISABILITY TRUST FUND
For payments from the Black Lung Disability Trust Fund, $181,689,000, of which $162,700,000 shall be available for payments of all benefits after March 31, 1978, interest on advances under subsection (b)(2) of Section 3 of the Black Lung Benefits Revenue Act of 1977, reimbursement to operators, and repayment into the Treasury for amounts expended for claims and expenses incurred for operation and administration of the Black Lung benefits program prior to April 1, 1978, as authorized by Section 424(a) of the Black Lung Benefits Act, as amended, and of which $17,819,000 shall be available for transfer to Employment Standards Administration, Salaries and Expenses, and $1,170,000 for transfer to Departmental Management, Salaries and Expenses, for expenses of operation and administration of the Black Lung benefits program after March 31, 1978 as authorized by Section 424(a)(5) of the Black Lung Benefits Act, as amended: Provided, That in addition, such amounts as may be necessary may be charged to the subsequent year appropriation for the payment of compensation and other benefits for any period subsequent to June 15 of the current year: Provided further, That funds provided under the heading "Advances to the Unemployment Trust Fund and Other Funds" in the Departments of Labor and Health, Education, and Welfare Appropriation Act, 1977, shall be available for the payment of repayable advances to the Black Lung Disability Trust Fund as authorized by subsection (b)(2) of section 3 of the Black Lung Benefits Revenue Act of 1977.
