Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding section 4(a) of the Act entitled "An Act to provide for the transfer of title to certain land at Sand Island, Territory of Hawaii, to the Territory of Hawaii, and for other purposes", approved August 25, 1958, the State of Hawaii may use for any public purpose the revenue ®^ proceeds from the sale, lease, or other disposition of the lands held by it under a transfer made by Executive Order Numbered 10833 under such Act on August 25, 1959. Such sale, lease, or other disposition shall comply with the laws of the State of Hawaii relating to public lands. Approved October 20, 1978.
