COUNCIL ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUAUTY AND OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUAUTY For necessary expenses of the Council on Environmental Quality and the Office of Environmental Quality, in carrying out their functions under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (Public Law 91-190), the Environmental Quality Improvement Act of 1970 (Public Law 91-224), and Reorganization Plan No. 1 of 1977, including not to exceed $500 for official reception and representation expenses, and hire of passenger motor vehicles, $3,126,000. OFFICE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY For necessary expenses of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, in carrying out the purposes of the National Science and Technology Policy, Organization, and Priorities Act of 1976 (42 U.S.C. 6601 and 6671), hire of passenger motor vehicles, services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, not to exceed $1,000 for official reception and representation expenses, and rental of conference rooms in the District of Columbia, $2,625,000.

For necessary expenses in carrying out the functions of the Disaster Relief Act of 1970, as amended (42 U.S.C. 4401), the Disaster Relief Act of 1974, as amended (42 U.S.C. 5202), and Reorganization Plan No. 3 of 1978, authorizing assistance to States and local governments, $193,600,000, to remain available until expended.
