Public Law 96-306 96th Congress An Act To authorize the President of the United States to present on behalf of Congress a specially struck gold-plated medal to the United States Summer Olympic Team of 1980.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembka. For such purpose, the Secretary of the Treasury IS authorized and directed to cause to be stricken six hundred and fifty gold-plated medals with suitable emblems, devices, and inscriptions to be determined by the Secretary of the Treasury. (b) The medals provided for in this Act are national medals for the purpose of section 3551 of the Revised Statutes (31 U.S.C. 368).
