Rec.) ; Sharpstone in Barham seems to be the modern equivalent. Cf. n. 186. '" Inq. El. enters these freemen as held of the Bishop by Roger Bigot (p. 145). It also records them amongst the ' invasiones ' in the list headed ' 'enura Haimoms de S. Clan' (p. 182), which is repeated in the list of Roger Bigot's ' invasiones ' (p. 188). soke.
