9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills. [1] [2] 11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild donkeys quench their thirst. [3] 12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches. [4] 13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works. 14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; 15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart. [5] 16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap ; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted; 17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house. 18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19 He appointeth the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down. 20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: in which all the beasts of the forest do creep forth . [6] 21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God. 22 The sun ariseth, they withdraw, and lay themselves down in their dens. 23 Man goeth forth to his work and to his labour until the evening. 24 O LORD, how many are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. 25 So is this great and wide sea, in which are creeping things innumerable, both small and great beasts. 26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, which thou hast made to play in it. [7] 27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their food in due season. 28 That which thou givest them they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good. 29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. 30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works. [8] 32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke. 33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. 35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

PSALM 105.

O give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. 2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. 3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. 5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. 7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. 9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac; 10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: 11 Saying, To thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: [9] 12 When they were a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. 13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; 14 He permitted no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15 Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he broke the whole staff of bread. 17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: [10] 19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. 20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. 21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: [11] 22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his elders wisdom. 23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. 24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
