Kalikananda Mukherjee, B.A., B.L., Rai Saheb, Govern- ment Pleader and Public Prosecutor, Birbhum (Bengal) was born on 15th June, 1862. He graduated in Arts from the Presidency College and in Law from the Ripon College at Calcutta. He joined the Birbhum District Court Bar in July, 1888, as a Pleader and was made Government Pleader and Public Prosecutor in December, 1902.
