He is a Presidency Magistrate and a leading publicman in Bengal. He is the author of *' History of India " that has been prescribed as a Text Book for Schools in Bengal. Address : Calcutta. SOTI Harbans Lal, Rai Bahadur, Rats; of Bijnor. In recognition of his services to the Government and the public he was made a Rai Bahadur in June, 1912. Address : Bijnor, U. P.
