Dr. Way-Sung New

Dr. Way-Sung New was born in Shanghai on June 14 1892, being a son of the late Shang-Chow New, who was one of the early Chinese students sent to America and upon his return was the secretary of the Kiangnan Dock and Engineering Works of Shanghai. Dr. New received his primary education under private auspices and attended the St. John's Middle School from 1902 to 1907. From 1907 to 1910, he studied at St. John's University, graduating in the latter year with the B. A. degree. In July he went to the United States and entered Harvard, joining the Medical School
