awarded the Second Class Wenfu and in January 1920 the Second Class Paokuang Chiaho. In February 1920 he was appointed Co-Director-General of the Government Economic Investigation Bureau. In August 1920 he became acting Minister of Agriculture and Commerce and also President of the Food Commission. In October 1920 he was given the Fifth Order of Merit. From May 1921 to December 1921 he was Minister of Agriculture and Commerce. In January 1922 he was appointed Director General of the Chinese Eastern Railway. However, he did not proceed to this post, and was relieved by Dr. C. C. Wang in March 1922.
