Five villagers and 5 borderers occupy the other 4 ploughlands. The mill pays 12 ſhlilings and ſixpence 5 and here are 10 acres of meadow and 16 acres of wood. The paſture is 2 furlongs in length and 1 in breadth. It was valued at, and is ſtill worth, 4 pounds 10 ſhillings.

3. The ſame biſhop holds Winefel, and Roger under him. Azor held it T. R. E. when it was aſſeſſed at 3 hides and a half. Here are 3 ploughlands. Two of theſe hides are in demeſne, where is 1 ploughland, and 3 villagers and 9 borderers occupy another ploughland. The mill pays 20 ſhillings; and here are 7 acres of meadow and 20 acres of wood. The paſture is 3 furlongs in length and 2 broad. It was, and is, valued at 70 ſhillings.
