7. Ernulfus himſelf holds Caldefelle. Wallefus held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 1 hides and a half. There are 1 ploughlands. One hide and a half is in demeſne, and conſiſts of 1 plough; and with 1 ſervant and 4 borderers. Half a mill brings in 18 pence. Six acres of meadow, and 6 acres of wood, and 8 acres of paſture. It was worth 4 pounds; now 50 ſhillings. Ernulfus himfelf holds in the ſame village the ſame quantity of land for 1 manor. Godwin held it T.R.E. He has there juſt as much land as belongs to the above, and the value is the ſame.

8. The ſame Ernulfus holds 5 acres of land in Butremare.
