9. Siwardus, a military man, holds Cheſeſlave of Milo. Two Thanes held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 1 hide, and 1 yardland and a half. Here are 6 oxgangs in tillage, and 1 cottager with 1 ſervant. Here is an acre of meadow, and a yardland and a half. Here is an acre of wood. It was, and is, worth 10 ſhillings. They who held it T.R.E. could go whither they pleaſed. Beſides this land, Burandus holds half a yardland, which Siwardus held T.R.E. Amalricus de Drewes unjuſtly ouſted him of this, according to the teſtimony of the Thanes of the ſhire.

10. Milo himſelf holds Ochehurne. Earl Harold held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 10 hides.
