39. Grimbaldus [1]aurifaber holds Maniford. Edward held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 6 hides and a half. Here are 4 ploughlands. Two ploughlands, with 1 villager, are in demeſne. Ten cottagers and 2 borderers occupy 1 ploughland. Two ſhares of a mill pay 12 ſhillings and ſixpence. Here are 20 acres of meadow, and the paſture is a mile and a half ſquare. It was valued at 100 ſhillings; now at 6 pounds.
