Twenty borderers occupy 3 ploughlands. Here are 20 acres of meadow, and 4 acres of wood. Two mills pay 25 ſhillings. It was, and is, worth 8 pounds.
20. Goisfridus holds Draicote. Edric held it T. R. E. and it was aſſeſſed at 5 hides. Here are 5 ploughlands. Two of them, and 4 ſervants, are in demeſne. Seven villagers and 10 cottagers occupy 3 ploughlands. The mill pays 5 ſhillings. Here are 40 acres of meadow 1 and the paſture is 2 furlongs in length, and 1 broad. The wood is half a mile long, and a quarter broad. A burgage pays 12 pence. It is worth 100 ſhillings.
