vants. There are 49 villagers and 26 borderers, with 15 ploughlands; and 20 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 miles long, and a mile and a half broad. The wood, a mile and a half ſquare, and there is alſo a third part of a wood, which is called Cetum. It was valued at 40 pounds, now at 60. Half a hide belongs to the church: Giraldus, a prieſt at Wilton, holds the tythe of it, which is worth 10 ſhillings. The church is decayed and ruinous.

10. The King holds Chenvel. Eileva held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 30 hides. Here are 15 ploughlands. Seventeen hides and a half are in demeſne, where are 5 ploughlands and 10 ſervants. Sixteen villagers, 10 borderers, and 18 cottagers occupy the remaining 10 ploughlands. There are 15 acres of meadow, and the paſture is a mile and a half long, and 3 quarters of a mile broad. The wood is 3 quarters of a mile ſquare. It was
