orphans, the sad and the sorrowful; in the faithful discharge of the duties of property, with all its manifold calls on their patience, their temper, and their time: and they will acquire a respect and reverence for such women, and feel that God has not put them into the world to eat and drink, amuse themselves and die; but that He has given to each a mission and a work, and that on the fulfilment of that work will depend their happiness both here and hereafter.
