SHEA, Regina Campbell, (Mrs.), born in Boston, Massachusetts, August 31, 1878, daughter of Michael Quinn and Mary Rosalie Hennessy Campbell, a resident of California for 14 years. Married to Dr. John Joseph Shea. Producer and director of plays for clubs and churches. Has written, directed and produced many plays and has been awarded several prizes. Writes short stories and articles- Author of several monologues. Her Chinese play: “For the Love of Tai Hi”, has met with great success. SHEPHERD, Elizabeth Lee, (Mrs. R. D.), born in Savannah, Georgia, September 26, 1876, daughter of Gen. W. W. and Mrs. Susan Hardee Kirkland, niece of the famous General William Hardee, who was commandant of West Point at the beginning of the Civil War and host to the then Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII of England. Married to Rezin Davis Shepherd of Shepherdstown, W. Va. At one time actress (stage name Odette Tyler), with Charles Frohman of New York. Has written many short stories, also several books and plays. Author: “Boss” (published by Transatlantic Publishing Company), “Red Carnation” (play), “It Happened in Dixie” (play), “Maid, the Mouse and the Man” (vaudeville sketch).
