The second Chinese character is incorrect; a question about genre edit

The second kanji in the Japanese name rendered (I gather) in Ruby is incorrect, but I have no idea how to change it.

Also, although I would think the project would want genre italicized as it is in the text, I don't know if those working on this project, or Wikisource in general, has opted not to italicize the word in this book or anywhere it is italicized in an English-language book. I am therefore leaving genre as it is until someone with much more experience with Wikisource than I can make the decision. Scrawlspacer (talk) 09:51, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Having proofread/validated many other pages from this text, at least one of which included an italicized genre in the original that was also italicized in the digitized text, I went ahead and italicized genre. Scrawlspacer (talk) 13:26, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Scrawlspacer:: The missing italics are just due to OCR not automatically italicizing it and then it being missed during the first proofread pass (at least for me, it's easy to scan over italics and not notice them...). As for the character, it appears the same way on the character list. I don't see any relevant characters at [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], but GlyphWiki gives a variant form that seems to match (though I have no idea if this is actually usable, and I think it's only a display variant based on this (redirects from itaiji). --Pokechu22 (talk) 16:45, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
