@Charles Matthews: Can you work out who is this Thomas Wilson? It is not clearly one of those in DNB, and I cannot work it out from Alumni Oxonienses [1]. Thoughts? — billinghurst sDrewth 01:05, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Billinghurst: There is a consistent story in 19th-century sources, e.g. [2], that Wilson was also a courtier, teaching the flute to Charles I; and that Owen made him professor of music at Oxford after the parliamentary visitation.
